About
From the very first Yoga class I attended I was hooked by this feeling I experienced after the practice. A feeling of being grounded and calm. My mind, usually busy overthinking and planning the future, was suddenly quiet. It truly felt a little bit like magic.
I soon started practicing Yoga regularly and it became an important part of my everyday life. After mainly practicing on my own for a long time I went to India in February 2020 and participated in a Yoga Teacher Training at Diya Yoga School in Arambol. I wanted to deepen my practice and learn more about the fascinating philosophy behind. It was for sure one of the best decisions I ever took and changed my life in many ways. It was then I realized that Yoga is so much more than just a physical practice - it is a way of life.
In March 2022 I got trained in Yin Yoga and teaching Yoga in a trauma sensitive way by SoulWork in Costa Rica. As a psychology student on my way to become a psychotherapist I see the immense importance of being aware of trauma sensitive language and ways of teaching.
I have experienced many times how powerful the practice of Yoga can be in supporting healing and mental well-being, therefore it is a goal close to my heart to combine modern psychotherapy with traditional practices like Yoga in the future.

On my journey with Yoga I practiced many different styles of Yoga with many different teachers. I am thankful for every one of them and the knowledge and wisdom they passed on to me. All of them added their pieces to building my own way of practicing and teaching.
The most beautiful thing about teaching Yoga for me is to share what I love with others and to see how they can feel the positive effects and joy of it too.
